Hi everyone! My name is Kelsey and I am the founder of Finding Eco. 

If you've found your way to this page, you're probably at least a little curious about why I started this adventure, who I am, and what I'm doing!

I am a 22 year old student with a passion for the ocean.

I have always been an avid sailor and traveler. To me, the ocean is the most beautiful thing on this planet and no one can convince me otherwise. But I was always amazed at the amount that humans have polluted it.

I started to realize that purchasing power is a vote towards what you believe in and what you support. Want to see less plastic in our oceans and landfills? Stop buying plastic. 

This is my reasoning for creating Finding Eco!

When I started my plastic free journey in college, (I said journey not instant change. It is something I fail and improve at everyday), I was filled with overwhelming joy at how much those around me admired the eco-friendly tips, tricks, and tools I was using and how curious they were to adopt similar changes.

I want to help others who want to make more eco-friendly choices but don't know how find simple alternatives that they can adapt to help stop plastic waste in their life. 

Finding Eco is all about sharing my experiences in how I aim to live a healthier, less wasteful, and more meaningful life.
